About Spooky Box Club

We are a UK, Yorkshire based and independently-owned brand, which means that all orders are packed by us personally at Spooky Box HQ. We always aim to get orders out as quickly as possible, and we have shipment collections everyday except weekends!

Our products are all small batch manufactured or handmade by ourselves in-house, one piece at a time. Due to this process, there may be slight variation from one item to the next. Such variations are inherent in the manufacturing of handmade products, so you may expect minor distinctions that will make your purchase special and truly one of a kind.

 

What is your Privacy Policy

Your Personal Details will never be given to third parties

Spooky Box Club does not hold customers financial details such as bank details, credit/debit card information and would never ask for this information from customers. 

Payment

We currently accept Shop Pay, PayPal and Google Pay - view icons displayed at the bottom of our Homepage.

You may also use a Debit/Credit Card for your payments through PayPal as a guest, without having to open a PayPal account.

Subscriptions and Pre ordering

Customers have the choice of Subscribing to receive surprise boxes or Pre-ordering a single specific theme each month.

Pre orders close on the last day of the month.

How much does it cost?

Shipping charges depend on the basket price and destination. A full list is shown below. Shipping charges apply from 1/11/2022.

I have just pre ordered a Spooky Box / I have just signed up to a subscription, what can I expect to receive?

Every month we list a new theme and each collection is filled with unique original items designed by ourselves. Boxes might include pieces of jewellery, patches, pins, buttons, stickers, bigger fashion accessories such as bags, scarves, hats as well as homeware pieces. The majority of our items are not available to purchase anywhere else and are completely unique to Spooky Box Club.

I have missed the deadline to subscribe /preorder a new theme; can I still purchase this box?

Once all subscribers have received their current boxes, we check our inventory for any extra stock and we list the remaining boxes and individual items in the Shop section of the website for you to purchase.

When will I be billed?

If you Pre-order a new theme, PayPal deducts the payment on the day of purchase.

The first subscription payment will come out on sign up day. There after your subscription payments come out on the 13th of each month.

Please note that 3 or more payments always overlap between getting a box and this is normal. Spooky Boxes take time to manufacture as our goods are designed and made specially for each corresponding monthly theme.

Furthermore the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the production speed of our manufacturers due to them closing operations for lockdowns.

You can cancel your order or subscription at any time as long the order has not been dispatched.

Do I have to subscribe / prereorder every month?

Customers pre-ordering new themed boxes will need to visit the website every month and pre-order between the 1st and last day of the month if the theme is to their liking.

Customers who are current subscribers do not have to re-order every month.

They will be automatically billed each month by PayPal for the new theme.

 

How do I cancel my order or subscription?

  • You can cancel your subscription by logging in to your account to cancel your subscription.

 

– If your pre–ordered box or other purchases have not been dispatched, you can cancel your order by sending an e-mail to info@spookyboxclub.com requesting a cancellation.

International Shipping

Orders are dispatched via FedEx, USPS, Royal Mail, DHL or one of their partners.

Delivery dates vary for each country.

Where shipping costs are over £14.50, customers will receive an e-mail with tracking information.

If shipping costs are under £14.50, orders are dispatched via an untracked service and the customer will receive an e-mail regarding the dispatch.

We are not liable for refunds on untracked items if they are lost during transit.

For peace of mind, if you wish your small order purchase to be sent via the tracked and signed service, contact us and we will calculate the extra shipping costs for you.

The customer is responsible for any import Duty and VAT charges. Customs / Import charges vary by destination.

UK Shipping

Orders are dispatched via FedEx, DHL, Royal Mail or other courier services.

All UK orders are dispatched via a tracked service.

Delivery dates are 1 to 2 days.

Address Change

It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us of an address change.

If you have changed your address, please send an e-mail to info@spookyboxclub.com and provide your new details.

This will allow us to update your address details on our courier’s data base.

You will also need to update your address details on your Spooky Box account as well as PayPal.

Informing us of an address change whilst parcels are in transit will result in additional charges of £12 or more being applied. Please note these are courier charges.

 

A failure to inform us of an address change will result in non–receipt of goods.

No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.

Where parcels cannot be delivered due to the addressee having moved and not informing us, these will be destroyed by the courier company and not returned to us due the high cost involved.

 

By placing an order on our website, customers are committing to the shipping charges as specified on our website.

 

When will my Spooky Box ship?

 

Each new Spooky Box takes roughly 3 months or more to design and manufacture from scratch. There are times when delivery will take longer due to the amount of custom made products and the time it takes to have our designs produced by our manufacturers and shipped to us.

 All customers who have pre ordered a box or are on the subscription service; will receive an e–mail with tracking information when their box is dispatched.

 

Worldwide shipping dates will vary depending on your local postal delivery service but are generally around 1 to 12 days.

 

Once your box is dispatched we have no control over the time it will take to reach you.

Please note that if your order is returned back to us due to non-delivery, new shipping charges will apply. 

 

Is it possible to send a Spooky Box or small item as a gift?

Spooky Boxes make great gifts! All you have to do is fill in your recipients address details instead of your own and inform us not to include the receipt.
